If you are using Wordpress then Google Analytics gives you all the data about the traffic to your store. If you are running an e-commerce site on Shopify for instance, Shopify has its own Analytics tool tab that gives a fair bit of info of visitors to your site as well. Cheers !

Traffic form the third party websites(other than search engines) are counted as referral traffic, so you can track your referral traffic in "Referral" under "Acquisition" tab in Google Analytics.

Why don't you use UTM-tagging? Or if you are looking for a more complex approach, try this: https://developers.google.com/analyt...l/v1/reference

Well, the problem you are talking about is quite common. One simple answer to this is to go through Google Analytics to check out the traffic source of the website. You will get detailed information about the web traffic source. Another option that you can consider is to go for Similar Web. But Google Analytics would be much more effective.

Google Analytics is one of the best sources to track your website traffic. But traffic is not the only thing you need to track. If you need to know your users better then you need to use analytics tool for this which is Google Analytics tool.
