Google News accepted Tech website

Hello Warriors,
I didn't find any similar thread yet that's why I created this one. I own a website about tech news (with gaming, movies sections too), accepted in Google News and Bing News. As I'm looking for a SEO consultant in my country (the website is in french), I was wondering if there are warriors here who own a news website because I have some questions about how to do SEO for that kind of websites.
Obviously, news website don't sell products but is it still possible to see a ROI "quickly" ? If I ask that odd question is because I was thinking if it's the case, the ROI could be used to broad the website traffic acquisition strategy (and maybe also hire writers).
Right now, I use Adsense and sponsored articles on the website.
Any thoughts appreciated.
