Google not showing SERPs correctly

Today I was checking organic keyword position of my website in ahref and I found one of my keyword ranked on 2nd position but when I search it on Google its no where in result.

I checked it with multiple IPs on different laptop and only 2 of them successfully able to see them on 2nd position.

What is that issue or Google rank your keyword in specific regions/cities?

Do you use ahrefs always? do you crosscheck your rankings manually? Maybe you have forgot to set the location in advanced search on Google and that is why it is not showing up.

    Fixed it.

Google is correct, ahrefs is wrong.

It might be Ahref issue but other SERPs are showing same on Google as Ahref not sure what is the reason with that specific keyword.

I heard sometimes your keywords get ranked in specific cities like California, New York, Chicago etc because the person who is having same ranking was using vpn (California IP address) and he found that keyword on 2nd position.

Well yeah, Google definitely shows different results in different cities, when appropriate, they show different results based on the device that is being used and they show different results if you are signed in or not signed into Google. They've been doing that for years.
