Hey guys, I just created an infographic and I wanted to get some backlinks with it.

I'm going to contact websites where i find this could be a useful addtion but I was wondering what other ways I can get backlinks with this new infographic?

I googled "infographic directories" and im about to submit them to those.

Is there anything else I can do?

what about your social media channels? Such as Facebook and Insta? Do you have a good following? You can share it to your audience that way (who will naturally share it to their audience if it is good). Also, as you said, offering it to blogs as a guest post opportunity, perhaps with an article attached is a good way to go.

An infographic is only useful if it makes things easier for people to understand concepts. Surely, you didn't just create it out of the blue. What are the websites in that niche that would find it a helpful resource for their site visitors? Better yet, what are the related websites that already link to other websites' infographics? That's where you start. In fact, I wouldn't even bother creating an infographic for links unless I already knew what those sites were and whether it was worth spending my time creating it.

Oh, and I have never visited an infographic directory. I suppose others have, though,

Infographics can be very effective ways to spread your message. They are eye-catching and often much more compelling than plain text. Here are few methods for promoting your infographics.
    1. Submit it to Infographic Directories
    2. Make a Video From It
    3. Send it to Your Subscribers
    4. Tweet About It
    5. Send Out Press Releases
    6. Share it on Pinterest
    7. Optimize Your Infographics
    8. Include Portions of the Infographic on Facebook
    9. Translate Infographics Into Other Languages
    10. Use Paid Ads or Facebook Sponsored Stories
    11. Connect With Influencers
    12. Choose a Catchy Headline
    13. Use Google Alerts to Find Additional Places to Promote
    14. Publish Images on Flickr and Instagram
    15. Link to it in E-books

As you ask about the promotion I would say that you need to share your infographics at Behance, Linkedin, FB and other sites.

As a 3d visualizer I will suggest you that you should catch some interesting topics for your infographics like gadgets, Jobs, Politics, brain, and many more
