It means your website pages are not cached yet.

To have your site in web cache you should-
    • Go to Google's Crawl URL web page and submit a request to crawl them.
    • Enter the complete URL of the site -- including "http://" -- in the field.
    • Submit bulk pinging requests on bulk pinging submissions sites with all versions of Google.
    • Check if you've embedded NOFOLLOW or NOINDEX directives in the meta tags. If yest then remove them.
    • Robots meta directives look like this:
      • <meta name="robots" content="noindex,noarchive,nofollow,noodp,noydir" >
    • Share your website pages and homepage on social media sites, Google+ most preferred. The more people will click on your webpage that would bring more chances to get cached through it.
    • Repeat the processes until it got cached.

  • Yes, it's mean your website has not cache. You can use google url submission through it you can request to crawl your website again. It may take sometimes.

Many reasons can be behind it. Check your website meta robots content, it should be "follow, index".

  • Facing the same issue and that why I just joined this forum.

Now if you remove www. from the search cache 404 page url, you will see that your site is getting indexed - like this

Packers and Movers India, International, Household, Car and Bike Shifting - +919311222578

So pinging your site or re-indexing isn't the answer.

But the problem is that though this may be a google side technical issue, I am noticing that my site is dropping its ranking and all my competition sites don't have this issue.

I have also tried to add www. in one of my domain but that not the solution as I don't want to see the search cache 404 on any version of my site.

Please stay in touch if you get any solution, as currently, this issue exists on your site.

    Regards,
    Pratap Singh
