Can I do negative seo for https://www.consumercomplaints.in/ link coming in search.

when I search from my company name in google search bar I get a link from www.consumercomplaints.in .. Its leaving bad impact for my company. One of my competitor did this..He put a bad review on this site now its coming in search. What should I do.

    you can contact the site to takedown by giving a good explanation

    they have that option

    but they may ask you money,,the owners of such indian complaint sites are mostly looters...

    if they do not comply then you can give a complain to local police station and they will send message to the site owner

    its happened before

    Most countries don't have 'internet police' who will take action to remove a complaint online.

    Use the complaint to your advantage. Many people, including myself, search for negative reviews before doing business with a company. What I look for is HOW they respond to a negative review. Did they help to resolve the problem? Did they do their best to make things right in the reviewers eyes?

    Or did they just ignore the complaint or attack the reviewer?

    Asking the site on which bad comment is posted is also the option but they might ask you some money in consideration of putting down the URL. In fact you can go for this but instead of doing negative SEO for this negative comment or review whatever you say. I'll suggest you to focus on positive reviews (currently if not then ask your happy customers to give reviews by their experience with your company). Now start making efforts to rank your positive review pages so that bad comments will fall down & Google AI may help your company in building trust back.
