Is anyone else using redirects to rank websites. I am seeing a lot of websites with links from domains such as this:

    Redirecting a Page:
    When a web browser attempts to open a URL that has been redirected, a page with a different URL is opened. Similarly, domain redirection or domain forwarding is when all pages in a URL domain are redirected to a different domain, as when xyz.com and xyz.net are automatically redirected to xyz.org.
    types of redirection:
    301 and 302/307 redirection...
    301 Moved Permanently. A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect which passes between 90-99% of link equity (ranking power) to the redirected page. 301 refers to the HTTP status code for this type of redirect. In most instances, the 301 redirect is the best method for implementing redirects on a website.
