Most people will tell you NO. Some people on the other hand think that no-follow links from authority sites might have at least some value. It could be that Google maybe counts the total number of links, but then gives do-follow links that have PR a much stronger emphasis. There is no strong evidence for this though. I would say just focus on do-follow links. No-follow links are only worth while if they bring traffic, but probably have no impact on SEO.

No follow baclinks is not worth its not like that it might be helpful for bring some traffic, but ultimately no follow links does not help to boost page rank. But do follow helpful for SERP which is works to boost page rank. So better seed links with do follow with high DA sites.

In my humble opinion, NoFollow links most definitely help in SEO. Although, its a separate matter that yes most their benefits are indirect in nature. Its contribution lies in improving our visibility in the SERP's and also in providing referral traffic, Which, in turn improves the reach of your brand/business.

This is quite a prevalent myth in the SEO world that NoFollow links have no use in SEO. This needs to be put to rest. No SEO strategy ONLY depends on whether or not the manual links will directly affect your SEO. The true value, its believed, rests with the indirect effects that NoFollow Links provide. Do not believe in the fleeting rumours that it's not necessary. Keep a healthy balance between both NoFollow and DoFollow links. This is ought to help your website's rankings in a positive way.

A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page's favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn't help a page's placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.

A no follow link is created with the nofollow link HTML tag, which looks like this:

    <a href="http://www.website.com/" rel="nofollow">Link Text</a>

The nofollow tag is basically a notice sign for search engines saying "don't count this."

Isn't that just mean and terrible? Why would anyone do such a thing? There's a reason for the nofollow attribute, and boy is it a good one!

      Say what?
Would you believe you have no idea what you're talking about?
No, really, who told you that or you pull it out from your *ss?

All Google want is for sites to tell crawlers not to follow link thus needlessly overloading
system with link or group of links to the same source and specially in cases when
people are abusing crawlers sending them to the same subjects to boost their SERP.
      As simple as that.

So, as far as algo is concerns, every link normal or no-follow is equal and have
the same voting power without chasing crawlers all over Internet.

Nofollow links have no SEO value.

They could potentially bring direct traffic to a site, but they do nothing for SEO. That's kind of the whole point of nofollow.

Are No-Follow links any good? Of course! As the saying does "there is some sense even in nonsense".
The benefits of no-follow link might not be as valuable as do-follow link in terms of Page rank and all, but it could help a lot with relevant traffic, and who doesn't want traffic.
No-Follow links are also important for a natural link profile. To have a natural link profile, there has to be link diversity, and there no follow links come in.

I would suggest you to build links regardless of the follow attribute value. That's not too important. What you need are links that are geographically and/or contextually related to the web page you are linking to.

e.g. If your website is about ice-creams...

    - a link from a foodie site is good
    - a link from a mechanics site is not that good

    Hi

The majority of individuals will let you know NO. A few folks, on the other side, genuinely believe that links from authority sites could possess some significance. It might possibly be that Google outlines the number of connections, but gives do-follow links that have PR a much stronger emphasis.

"No-follow Backlinks" from high PR websites definitely help put your website in the first 10 pages of Google search on your niche, no doubt about that. That's why people in fiverr who have high PR websites makes a lot money out of it. If you have other websites or your friends ' websites with high PR then interlink with them. This is not the best but this system really helps.

If there is a website which is giving you no follow link but its traffic is high you can add your website link here because it's a good source of traffic and will help you to represent your business in front of huge traffic. What else we need.

Even though link juice will not pass if you build No-follow backlinks, your website should contain a balance of both Do-follow and No-follow backlinks for SEO purpose. Both do follow and No follow links are important from SEO perspective. A blend of both help the google to understand the natural link building process. Though do follow have more weightage than a Nofollow link because there the website passes its authority to the linking domain. so try to create more do follow links than no followlinks.

It was always been a great battle between bloggers that do follow or no follow link which is better? Just because No follow links don't provide SEO link value doesn't mean no follow links are worthless. No follow links still provide valuable referral traffic.

A well-placed blog comment or a relevant forum post, no follow or not, can send a huge amount of traffic to your site, which then can funnel down to leads and conversions!

There should be a good amount of do follow plus no follow links also.

Everything Ive read says that even a no follow link throws a little bit of juice into the "established URL foundation" of a business. I like to think of it as the Concrete you build under the house. The do-follow links builds the house but no-follow links can help keep the credibility foundation. after all, the google crawler does not like no-index pages so it wants to see everything. follow or no follow.

No follow links are useful as they help you to:
Get a traffic and that is the most important thing for your site. It might be possible that your number of people might be less but if that no follow link is coming from some really established website then the quality of traffic matters a lot.
Nofollow contextual backlinks also helps your site gain some authority.
These features of nofollow backlinks will never diminish their importance.

No Follow links are as good as Do- Follow links. A recent study on the subject shows that the top-ranked sites on Google carried as much as 20% of no-follow links that helped the sites rank higher in SERPs. Therefore verdict states that No-Follow links definitely carry some value (obviously unknown) but it's there and it no-follow links are as good as Do-Follow links
