Hello everyone!

I did an introduction thread yesterday in the beginners forum, but I cant bloody find it.

oh well, I have started a new niche blog which I hope to grow mainly through SEO. I have been using trends to find key words and search terms then primarily writing articles around them. I just had an article written today by a free lance on Upwork. Great piece of work as well.

I have failed a lot over the last year online, but this has made me learn so, so much. The two areas I want to become most proficient in are SEO for articles and Facebook advertising.

I have read a lot from MOZ and others, is there any articles that 'you' people have used which you have found invaluable when it comes to learning more about SEO?

The longest article I currently have is 940 words. Informative, but do you think any site which aims to rank well on google should have a few articles of 1500+ words for 'corner stone' content?

Thanks for any replies in advance?

And no, I am not a copywriter by trade. I, unfortunately due to ill health was forced to change careers and after a year of ups and downs I have found myself over this last year, determined to 'make it online. My biggest failure was thinking everything was going to happen so quick. My time frames now are 6 months to a year to build traffic, my long term time frame is 5 years to be nearer my goals!

Ishaq, your introductory post is here: https://www.warriorforum.com/beginne...l#post11457523

Welcome to the forum. Take some time to browse through the SEO and PPC/Social Media sections. You'll find some good advice buried between all the cookie-cutter "list" posts.

      Hi Frank.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I think one of the hardest things I've had to over come is how many people are out there with their own ideas of how things should be done, obviously just to monetize themselves.

Tonnes of bull crap around. I think I have managed to see through the fog though, and it certainly helps knowing that I have a five year plan of self improvement to hopefully achieve my goals. just finished writing up another post just over 800 words this time.

Looking forward to implementing more SEO techniques though, for sure.

It works for me. Maybe if you try switching to Classic view..? (You can change forum views by using the drop-down menu under your user name in the search bar).

You can also find a link to all your posts in your user profile.
