I have an online curriculum that is created via an API connection to Airtable. The pages are created at runtime using a unique ID for each page. We are expecting a ton of traffic to each of these virtual pages. My question is: How can we leverage the traffic on these virtual pages to improve our SEO ranking? Would you canonicalize the page back to the homepage? What would you use?
Here's how it works:
The base URL is: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/ (this will soft 404 by design)
We append a unique RECORD ID to that URL to generate the virtual page, something like this:
Each "virtual" page of content (lesson plan) has a unique RECORD ID that is provided to the customer in advance. So they're looking at a list of URLs in an online platform that will generate iframes to these virtual pages. Here are the URLs I'm using, each in their own iframe code:
Lesson Plan 1: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/rec35GfS3eDt5Fv2d
Lesson Plan 2: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/rec44455522fgt3tw
Lesson Plan 3: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/recXXXXXXXXXXXX
Lesson Plan 4: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/recYYYYYYYYYYYY
Lesson Plan 5: https://www.lifeplanlabs.com/atbp/recZZZZZZZZZZZZ
So, knowing that we will get a high number of visits and high session durations, how would you leverage this to improve SEO? Thanks!
