Hello,

I have 2 domains. One was the initial domain, and the product name changed so we bought a second domain. We setup domain fwding so people who were still searching the old name could still find us. However, the new name started coming up on the search results with the old url below it. How can I get this old domain for ranking for this? Will stopping the fwding do it?

    Maybe I don't understand the question (nothing new at this forum). You changed the name of the product but you want the old product name/website to rank above the new one?

    When you do a search for the old name, does the page you're trying to get them to show up in the search results? If so, where is the problem? Please elaborate.

    I think he means domain forwarding? When the user searches the old website, it is supposed to redirect them to their other website instead of loading the older one.

    The problem i think is that the supposed new domain comes up in search now, but it still retains the old URL instead of the updated one.

    I think that is the issue?
