Question about Backlinks/Link Juice

I have a question about link building that's been puzzling me for some time now. So here's the scenario:

I create 5 free blogs with content related to my niche, all linking to my main website. I also have a list of 50 different sites that I can easily get virtually unlimited free links from fairly quickly. Is it better to create 50 links to each of my blogs, meaning create 50 links to blog 1, 50 links to blog 2, etc., or is it better to split the 50 links between the 5 blogs evenly (10 links to each)?

I know that more links are always better, and can't hurt you, but in this case I'm not sure if I'd just be wasting my time creating 50 links to each blog, since the links would all by coming from the same 50 sites and then flowing to my main site.

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Are the 50 sites all on the same niche as your 5 sites? if so I'd say SLOWLY add all 50 links to each of your 6 sites (5 plus your main site).

    If the 50 are not on the same niche then you'd be wasting your time.

      They are not all related to my niche. I know related links are king, but I've ranked many sites in the top 10 with only unrelated links so I know they still work.

        Any backlink to your site helps, but what I was trying to say is putting 50 links to each site is probably just as good as only putting 5-10 links to each site,

        Because Google will not put that much weight on the links; The time verse results means it's just not worth doing all 50 IMHO.

      Thanks for the replies so far guys, but let me try explaining my question again.

      I can get a backlink from a list of 50 sites that I have. I want to know if it does any good to use the EXACT SAME 50 sites to create 50 links to blog 1, blog 2, blog 3, etc. which will be linking to my main site, or if google is too smart for that and will notice that even though all 5 blogs have 50 links pointing to each of them, the links are coming from the same set of 50 sites so in essence I wouldn't be getting link juice from all 5 blogs. If that's the case then it would be better to point 10 of the links to blog 1, 10 of the links to blog 2, etc., and then each blog would have 10 links from a different set of sites.

      I hope that makes sense, it's hard for me to explain.. I should have drawn a rough diagram!
