I have found a good expired domain with backlinks from Wired, AndroidCenteral and Player.fm. Would it be a good deal for 301 Redirect or What?

    It depends on what is being re-directed. The information on a linked-to page that is re-directed needs to be extremely similar to the page that you are re-directing the link to. In other words, a backlink to a page about televisions that is now re-directed to a another website's page about dogs is not going to help.

    Be sure to check if the domain doesn't have any penalties in Google Search Console.
    If it doesn't, then sure, either 301 redirect or build a new site on the domain and then link to your main money site.

    In my opinion, this strategy is not good for the website because if you redirect the expired domain to your website, not only just authorities come with the expired domain but also the spam score can be transferred through the redirection so it can dangerous for SEO purpose.

    There are 2 things to remember here

    1. 301 redirect just pass 85% of Link juice to redirected page
    2. The page you are redirecting must be almost similart to the page being redirected to get the desired result.

    So if your targetted page is similar to the page you are redirecting than you can go for it.
