What do you mean by listing here? Posts and articles?

The website was taken down years ago but from what I am now noticing, it looks like it still shows on some local citations. So I will try removing them from whatever citations is showing on google, thanks.

      Dear mikehende

You can not remove GMB listing from Google but you can mark the location as "Place is permanently closed or has never existed" and choose the appropriate reason.

You can suggest Google to remove it from Google Map, it even you don't manage it.

Once Google updates it, many aggregators will update it automatically in sometime or you can go their websites and perform similar reporting actions to get them delisted It takes time. Around 3 months.

      1. Go to Google Maps
      2. Find the location on Map
      3. Click Suggest an edit.
      4. Mark the location as "Place is permanently closed or has never existed" and choose the appropriate reason.
      5. Click Submit.

Are you sure that whatever you're founding is not old cache, which,
BTW sooner of later will be dropped by Google and other SE.

In Robots.txt file you can disable Google to index that. That is the easiest way to do that.
