Accurate Results

Hi Guys

In your opinion which software free and or paid produces the most accurate results with respect to

a) Traffic per Month/Day
b) Organic Keyword Rankings

I have a couple of paid options and looked at a few free well known and talked about options and there are vast differences between them.

Appreciate any help

      When you say do the job what do you mean? You have found there results to be accurate? Do you use similarweb? Could you just elaborate a little, please.

    I would recommend ahrefs for keyword ranking - although it is paid. The free tools generally just don't go far enough IMO

    None of them are really consistently that accurate for traffic. They are all making guesses based on a few data points.

    For keywords, if you mean you want to be able to enter in a URL and see what keywords it is ranking for, both Ahrefs and SEMrush do a good job.

    If you mean you want to track rankings of specific keywords for a site, RankWatch is good.

      1. Accurate as is possible a given site's monthly and or daily organic traffic in SERPs
      2. Accurate as is possible a given site's number of KW's for which that site ranks for in organic search (SERP's) and which Kw's.

    Well For most accurate estimates, you can use SEMRush paid tool which provides you accurate estimates regarding traffic volume, ranked URLs, Keywords ranked in multiple countries etc. Apart from SEMRush, Ahref is also provide very good estimates of ranked keywords..

    a) Piwik analytics is self hosted so it can provide the most accurate data when it comes to traffic.
    b) Manual search of keyword rankings in organic results is still the best and accurate because of its real time results.

    I think Ahrefs rank tracker could give your answer. I'm going to send a screenshot. it's my current client's site updates. you can check keywords and traffic per month/day or bi-weekly. it updates every 24 hours.
    ahrefs aid tool gives you 100% accurate results.

    This is obvious but in my opinion, for the things you asked for, just use Search Console. No one provides more accurate data than Google themselves. Not sure why people would use a paid version when the best source of this data is free. These other software's will not give you the most accurate information. Use Ahrefs for things like backlinks, so you know when you've lost and acquired links. For any website you don't own, you will obviously need some of the software suggestions above.
