Helo!
I have a question about HTML-codes.

There is a strategti, that I guess averybidy kinda know, for seeing whixh keyword someone has used to his/her site.

You simple look at the html-codes for the page and find the line "<meta name="keywords""
Every keyword is separated by a "," but I have seen the sign "|"
So it's like:
keyword1 | keyword2 | keyword3 |

Does somebody knows what this means? Is the words in the same searsh-phrase or what?

Best Regars

/David

    Hi David,

That looks like a mistake made by a new webmaster. The vertical bar is not a valid separator for keywords in the Keyword meta tag, it should be a comma.

The keyword meta tag is not used consistently by all webmasters and the major search engines totally ignore the tag, so I wouldn't rely on it as an accurate indicator or which keywords the page is targeting.
