Hi,
I wanted to know is there any way we can push the bad backlinks from appearing on first page
of SERPs...
so to break down my query,
someone has put up a bad review on a high DA site and that article kind of shows up when we search for our brand name.
Is there any way we can push that review from appearing on the 1st page, inspite of creating backlinks on good DA sites..that article doesn't seem to move.

Maybe talk to the person that actually placed it there?
That's one way to do it.

If you did something wrong like scamming/stealing, then you deserve to be placed on such pages.

If you don't deserve to be placed there, then there's a way to forcefully remove any link from a website that relates to your work or site directly.

Contact companies that actually work in that domain and they will fix it for you.

    Good luck!

Yes, rank other pages above it.

    Hi Sonia,

There are two possibilities, One is that you can contact with person who has written this negative review regarding your product and convince him to remove this content if you thought he/she has written biased content for your product and services.

If this is not a case, you can rank other pages above it to push this content below at SERPs.

I think , you can get in touch the person that wrote it and have it changed. But it is unprofessional to do this. So I suggest you work hard to receive positive reviews to cancel out the review.

Well ORM is one of important aspect to look into while building a brand name, but in said scenario there are two possibilities one contact that person and explain what went wrong Ann how you can help in resolve the issue. And option 2 (My favourite) Push extensively into content strategy, target you niche keywords and rank better articles as it's just one review that went wrong and investing more into content will result in more good reviews and those good reviews eventually gonna overshadow bad ones.
