Ranking for not existing keywords

Hello everyone,
A client of mine is selling some herbal products. One great thing about this products (according to him), it is a good colon reliever. But, due to DFA in his country, he can't clearly state that it's a colon reliever in his website content, at the same time he wants to rank for that keyword (colon reliever).
Would it be possible to do so?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You can sell herbal products from your site even if your country does not allow it. You can use this keyword and you can do local business by ranking colon reliever.

      thank you shimulary for your reply, unfortunately he can't use this kw. Health regulations in his country doesn't allow to promote herbs as a medicine.

        Ranking fir colon relief and selling something for colon relief are not the same thing, and ranking for that keyword will not be breaking the law.

        The issue you and your client will have is this: when people searching fir colon relief medication look at the serp and see your site that is not mentioning colon relief in the description, they will not click on the link.

        It is, of course, possible to use that keyword on page without stating that the product is anout getting colon relief.

        But then you run into this: how dobyou convince people to buy a colon reliever from you that you cannot say is a colon reliever?

        The answer is, of course, that you can with clever wording.

    What I am trying to figure out is why saying something will aid in relief is the same as calling it medicine (it isn't).

    I can relieve aching muscles with ibuprofen or get a massage. Under that logic, a massage is medicine!

    Maybe you can try to use synonyms that have a more vague meaning, so that it`s not clearly a promotion of colon reliever? You can also try making these keywords withible only to the search algorthitms, like making them white or transperent. Hope that helps.

      Absolutely DO NOT do the second suggestion! That is one of the oldest spam tricks in the books and something Google has been penalizing websites for for two decades. You could definitely be penalized for having invisible text on your website.

      Besides, what purpose would that serve? Actual people still need to read what's on the page and if your product relieves their condition, they want to know that!

      Using synonyms is absolutely fine but the second advice of using keywords in the white text or transparent text is one of the main spam activities for which Google can demote your website ranking.

      First of all, it is not understandable why you are thinking that "colon reliever" is a keyword related to medicine. See there are many exercises that can relieve colon. So, it doesn't make them medicine. Many foods can even relieve colon so you can't say they are medicine. So, you should use the work "Colon Reliever" as your keyword and also contain it in your content. Just make sure that you don't market your product as medicine.
