Im making an adsense niche site

Alright im trying my luck with developing an adsense niche site. I have found my keyword. Its an obscure machine part that gets 20,000 searches per month that I woud have never thought of if my father didnt have to fix it. I just used the google keyword tool. Right now I am not spending any money on keyword software or templates. The competion doesn't look strong, so I think I am in good shape. The only problem with that is its hard to get information to write about, but I asked my father all about the part so I should have enough info to write about. I am using the bluesense template, but changing the ads are very irritating. I should have a rough draft of my first article up by tonight.
Does anyone have any suggestions on working with the bluesense template?

    Hi zachary0611,

That sounds like a nice find. Have you checked to see if there are advertisers bidding on it on the SERP? You need more than just traffic, you need advertisers for AdSense income.

Since it's such a narrow niche you should probably limit the number of ad units to just one.

Make sure you find and replace every Adsense publisher ID that is embedded into the Bluesense template, else you will be earning for template designer's account.

I was able to come up with a 300 word article for my site it seems like there are to many ads on blue sense. Is there a better wordpress template I could use?

After hours of researching whats better .com, .net, .org, hyphen or not, bluesense, other wordpress templates I finally regged the .net and stuck with the bluesense template. I have social bookmarked the site, but I am getting the feeling that writing articles (which I hate) with your link in them provides much better seo than social bookmarking. So, I am off to find an article to write.

      finding content is easy,

read the first post of this read to find your articles
      http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...-3-months.html

then change it around slightly so it comes out a little more unique, try and put it in your own writing style ensuring that you leave the keywords in the right place (where they are orignally, ie, if keywords are X amount away from the previous sentence, or before a full stop, or in the middle of a paragraph) and you'll be fine.

.com, .net, .org, dont matter, neither does hypens, not for an adsense site.

try and add some value to the site as well, images, videos, free downloads, etc, and try to build your list at the same time...

also put a feedburner opt-in box on your blogs too, and ensure you set it up to have a teaser, ie, it only shows X amount of words in the person's inbox, so it forces them to visit your site again

as for templates, best templates i came across are from studiopress dot com, these index my pages in about 3-11 minutes and dont forget to add the all-in-one-seo-plugin

Don't forget to create plenty of content. It's important that you don't create a website that is simply there to display Adsense ads.

Well I am going by xfactors guide for a mini site based on a consumer product. Should I write more than 300 words? The main goal is to make it a boring site to increase ctr. I am giving solid info on my product, but its hard to write that much about it. Is their a ratio of how much content to the amount of ads I need to go by?

Well I finished my article and submitted it. I am making progress slowly but surely.

For starters, askloz has a TON of good input here on the forums, so look and listen to his advice.

Second, you have TRULY read every word of my e-book, then you would not be sitting around confused on what to do.

It's all about action, getting constant backlinks, and uploading content to your site as often as you can.

Also, have you been inside my private forum? It's being ran and posted by people doing much more than my course, so it's perfect for learning what I do, plus all of the bells and whistles that other people do for their publishing business.

nah, there is no magic number, main thing ya need to concentrate on is consistency of the articles, if you dont know where to get back links from, adding regular content google favors and still ranks you high

Have you checked if people are spending money for advertising in that niche?

That's pretty important factor. You need businesses that spend top dollar on advertising on AdSense if you want to get more out of this. Just visitors is not enough to make cash.

John (zeus66) has a free WSO where he is giving away a report on how to get higher click through rates on your Adsense sites. He has a recommendation on the theme to use in it too. He also includes some videos so it is well worth gettng. And the price is right at free, unless that has changed. I got it over a month ago but I checked and it is still an active WSO. The URL is http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...hlight=adsense

I would recomend that you get it as I think you will get a lot out of it, and you can't beat the price.

Ok guys thanks for all the help. The advertiser competition was half full and I think the cpc was .30 to .90 cent.

This site is for a consumer product so adding feedburner videos and opt in is not what I want do because the main purpose of a consumer product mini niche is for the visitor to click on the ads because that is the product they are searching for. If the site does become real successful I could turn it into a drop-ship business and then add all those blog features, but one step at a time.

I got my father to help me on my rewrite of my original content so I think I can get the word count up to 700 words. I am going to add extra content by adding pages of that relate to my keyword. The pages will most likely be [manufacturer name] then [main keyword].

My site isn't indexed yet, but I wrote an article and just changed 2 of my old articles to point to my site. I hope that will give it enough link juice.

To get a better understanding what im trying to do check out xfactor and internetmarketer99 threads in here or do search for consumer products like air conditioner filters to see the style site im trying accomplish
