Hi, I have website and I have targeted different URL for different keywords but the problem is that all the keywords are showing the home page URL when we searched in Google rather the targeted URL.
So, how can I change the URL of my targeted keywords?

I think Google is ranking your home page for all the keywords.

If you want the other pages to show in the results, do SEO on those pages too.

To this point, I have a funny feeling that the home page has significantly more backlinks pointing to it than your individual pages do. Are there good links pointing specifically to those pages?

Also, how is your internal linking? Are there many (any) pages linking to those individual pages (not just navigation links)?

You should check the content of your website. The keywords which you want to rank should not be used in other pages(except for the interlinking) because it confuses Google, which pages you want to rank for that keyword. And when creating a backlink for that keyword target only that specific page.

    • May be your targeted keywords are in contents of your home page.
    • May be your all submitted contents listed on home page (Sidebar or at footer) .. So search engines found them at home page.
    • May be you are creating most of backlinks for your home page only with targeted keywords and because search engines find that keywords on home page also so site is ranking for those keywords.
In short you are getting organic traffics .... its good for you ..... I will recommend you to check your created backlinks for your keywords that its pointing to inner pages or home pages only.

If I understand you correctly, you've set up your site to COMPETE against each other for the same kws.

    Bad move.

Use longtails for your inner pages and farm link juice/ authority from those to pages that target BROADER keywords

Do SEO for other pages that you want to rank. Firstly On-page SEO is most important. Do On-page SEO for all pages, use proper meta tags and everything. After that do promotions for the URL you to rank.

You are only partially right. Backlinks trump on page.

I know because I've ranked (#1) 2 blank pages (just a title, included keyword) with backlinks for low t0 medium keywords. Never could rank something with only onpage, if there is competition.

I mean, if it's not too competitive, I can make it to the top of page 2 or bottom of page 1 based on onpage. But not to the top.

You need to do onpage Seo for other pages in your website. If you are using WordPress I recommend yoast plugin. It will help your to tank your keywords in Google. Most importantly you need to submit a sitemap to your Google search console. So your URLs will be live on google

Hello, Well I understand your issue, Do one thing, go to Google Search Console and click on the Url Inspection, after this copy your website link and paste on the bar on the header section, with this you will get to know that your website's URL's are indexed or not, and If they are not indexed submit an index and within some days your URLs will show indexed.
