Hi All,

I'd be interested to know which of the two WordPress SEO Plugins is preferred and or recommended by those that have used both.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yoast SEO serves the purpose of optimizing the content on your website very effectively. All in One SEO pack can help you enhance your site's performance from multiple angles too. So you can choose the one that suits your needs the best.

Previously, I was using Yoast SEO but from the last 2 years, I have been suing Rankmath which is pretty good.

It's bloated trash that constantly releases updates with bugs, some of them have crippled sites in the past.

I currently use RankMath on most of my websites. So far, it's been a good experience. Yoast has messed with my rankings multiple times in the past, due to them randomly releasing bad updates.

Yoast SEO. I've used it for a few years, and it can help your web pages and posts get traffic over time.

The plugin shows the overall SEO score:

    - Green = Good
    - Orange = Okay
    - Red = Needs improvement
    - Grey = Not optimized

Plus, Yoast gives you suggestions to make your page optimal. The goal is to get Green (Good).

Both of these are good plugins. In my opinion, Yoast is a bit simpler to use (and cleaner-looking), when it comes to optimizing content, but as some other guys have already suggested - they do indeed cause issues with their updates at times.

Both are amazing plugins when it comes to SEO, however, i personally prefer Yoast over All-in-one due to the variety of features, better rates, and convenience of the plugin.

Rankmath put them both on their knees but resistance is futile....

I preferred Yoast, It gives everthing for SEO if you avail pro version. Even in free version you can optimize your content as much like, keywords, slug, meta description and meta title. If you want to optimize your website content, images and URLs via plugins then go for Yoast pro.

Yoast gives suggestions to make your page SEO friendly. So YOAST is my one of favorite.

Comparing with AIO, Yoast gives you much better SEO features. But, I personally use Rank Math SEO plugin. And I'm satisfied with it. But if you mark the term 'Experience" with features, then YOAST definitely wins!

Yoast SEO is easy to use and familiar among the freelancers. The excess of features and analysis is great while all in one is also better but in my opinion the important part of Yoast SEO is it's simplicity and easy to use.

I'll prfere to All in SEO plugin and both Yoast SEO and All in One SEO has a lot of options. This makes the setup look a bit intimidating. Both plugins try their best to simplify things and make it easier for users to setup their SEO settings. We feel that Yoast SEO does a slightly better job than All in One SEO with their multi-page and tabbed settings.
