Help on negative keywords

Hi again. I'm with my second question here. It's about negative keywords. I believe that the answer to this question may be so stupidly obvious, that that's the reason why nobody makes the effort to explain it, even in the ppc courses I went through!.

Let's say this is my keyword list:

recipe books
books of recipes
recipe ebooks
cooking books

Now, I don't want my ad to show when somebody types the word spanish while searching for recipe books. So I must include spanish as a negative, right? So, how exactly is that done? :

option 1:

recipe books-spanish
books of recipes-spanish
recipe ebooks-spanish
cooking books-spanish

This is, in the same line and after each kw I want to apply the negative to, OR:

option 2

recipe books
books of recipes
recipe ebooks
cooking books
-spanish

This is , adding -spanish in an independant line just as any other kw?
If this is correct, will the negative work for all the keywords of the list?
