How many backlinks per day?

I've started to try backlinking every day to a few of my blogs. I set up corresponding blogs on blogspot just to use for backlinking, for instance if I have a self hosted wordpress blog called "mystuff.com", then I set up a blog called "mystuff.blogspot.com" just to use for backlinking.

Here's my question: should I just add a post to mystuff.blogspot.com every day, linking to my main WP blog mystuff.com, or should I create a new blogspot blog every day, for instance mystuff1.blogspot.com, mystuff2.blogspot.com, and just add one backlinking post to each of the blogspot sites?

Its much easier to add a new post each day on mystuff.blogspot.com, but I can't remember what people suggest to do for backlinking. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

my suggest for backlinking is social bookmark every post. don't do every post from subdomain linking to main domain. you'll get penalized because spam blogs.

That sounds like a lot of hassle my friend. And to the above post, that can't get you penalized. Not just linking from one self owned blog anyways. I would go over to freetrafficsystem.com and submit your articles with the ability to syndicate it to 30 different blog. That's way smart backlinking. There are tons of ways, but this one is probably the most fun and easiest.

OK, so a separate post from each subdomain isn't a good idea. I'm glad, because I really didn't want to do that, but I have to wonder what everybody means when they say "backlink from W2.0 properties like blogspot". They must mean to make a new post every day to the _same_ blogspot site that backlinks to the self-hosted WP website. But in that case, if no matter how many links from a given (blogspot) site point to a given (main WP website) it only counts as ONE link, then why bother doing a backlink post every day? That's what I've been wondering.

Actually those links will count separately and are different because those posts will be on a different url. So they still count. I personally don't do the blogspot thing though anymore. I know some good linking strategies for that field though. P.M if interested.

you can do it but only if you use different web 2.0 properties. 100 subdomain from blogspot will not be effective, you have to spread them

M... I tried something similar, but the result is not good !

You should get as many links as possible from all different sources:

    1. Submit article to articles directories
    2. Submit press release
    3. Submit video for traffic and links
    4. submit angela's backlinks (Google it!)
    5. convert site to software, submit to software directories
    6. submit bookmarking
    7. submit rss feeds to rss directories
    8. submit ebook to ebook directories
    9. submit podcast to podcast directories
    10. submit to web directories

Do as much as you can, you want as many backlinks as you can get!
