Hello, My website internal links and broken links are not showing up in ahrefs. Will that affect my seo ranking? Will that be a theme issue?

Thanks
Nick

Thanks for your reply. I can see only the following message in internal links and broken links page.

"There are currently no internal backlinks in our index for the specified domain/URL."

It does not matter one bit what Ahrefs finds or doesn't find. All that matters is what the search engines find.

Broken links will hinder you a bit . I am not sure if it's a theme issue . Have you tried using site speed test tool pingdom as well ?

First of all, where did you find that you have broken links in your site?? As you are telling they are not showing in AHREFs.

Again broken links have 4xx status code but all 4xx status code links are not broken links. Is it 404?? if it is 403 or 407 then it might be caused because of some htaccess error or authentication error.

And for the SEO yes it will affect the SEO ranking, try to do redirect the URLs in a valid URL using 301 permanent redirection. And of course this is not a theme problem.

If it is not a technical error then it might affect your SEO ranking. Check from other tools.
