Google is not indexing my posts?

Google is not indexing new articles on my site from some time. I have submitted sitemap of my site in search console. Also requested indexing in search console. Still new articles not getting indexed which I requested indexing 20 days ago. It is showing discovered currently not indexed.
Can it be because of short form content on my site as I have many around 800 words articles on my site.
My site is new around 2 months old. I have also published content on this site from my previous site whose domain I Sold. That content is no more on previous domain. Is Google considering my content duplicate. I have checked in Copyscape most of the previous content is showing unique.
Should I remove all the previous content and short form content from my site, in order to get my new content indexed?
Can such content harm my SEO across the domain?

Hello, This is actually quite uncommon.

Please check the robot.txt file if it is like stopping google from crawling any of your pages.
Then try manually submitting the links for indexing.
And give some time for google to make the changes. Thanks

Do some internal linking and content sharing on different sites, You just need to do some branding. Also check your content quality

As you mentioned that you have submitted a sitemap and requested indexing in the search console so I suggest you to Check your robots.txt file for any restrictions for crawling. One more solution you can do internal linking with posts which are indexed to new new written posts.

I have a same problem with this query, Please check the robot.txt file and update the sitemap and after that give google request for indexing. Make sure your post and title of the keywords must match the desired topic where you want to be rank your web-page.

There are few things you need to check. The first thing you need to check the content is SEO friendly or not because some web pages have not enough content or the content that doesn't meet the requirements. Second check the keywords that you want to rank and also check their density. And the last thing give the best meta titles and meta description that define your web pages,
If there is any issue related the above please check and if there is no problem update your site map and also talk with developer some technical issues reduce your site performance.

How did you check if it's indexed.

Duplicate content does not mean that it does not get indexed. It means it only gets shown in the top part of SERPs (or at all) if the SEO is better than the other version(s)'.

If you google the url of one of your posts in quotation marks, does it show up?

    Or if you search
    domain:www.domain.com
do the posts show in the results (hidden or not)?

If you've tried all the other stuff suggested in this thread and your posts are still slow to index, you could try sharing a link to them in your Google Business Profile or on LinkedIn. That seems to help with indexing a little bit.

    1) You can do article promotions on social bookmarking sites also share on social media channels.
    2) do internal links which pages will be indexed before.
    3) check duplicate content in your previous work, write more than 1000 words, and publish them with relevant keywords and tags.

Check the robot.txt file if you have allowed the crawler to crawl the page.

Typically, it takes from 2 hours to a few weeks for Google to index new posts, but in the case where it takes much longer to get noticed by Google, there could be some internal issues preventing search engine spiders from crawling your site's content. However, if you're so sure there's no such internal issue causing these indexing issues, try enabling the IndexNow feature in AIOSEO or RankMath, and you will have a significant improvement in getting your posts indexed on time.

The first good answer to understand the problem - to request crawling in Google. It helps to undestand is it any tech mistake available. Morever there is no obligation for Google to index EVERYTHING and more over if there is a copy of something, for sure could be ignored.

There are many reasons why your posts are not being indexed by google. As you submitted a sitemap and requested indexing in the search console so I suggest you to check your robots.txt file for any restrictions for crawling. Also try to post regularly. If your publishing schedule is random it may take long time to index your post.

Obviously, there's no guaranteed time-frame for how long it will take for your post to appear in google search. It can take from hours to weeks or months.

My last sugestion would be to post new write-up only, which is not exist on old domain.
