Question: Social Profiles Aren't Indexing

Hey SEOs, so I have a question.

I'm trying to get some social profiles related to a business to show up in Google. However, not even the Facebook business page seems to be indexed. (I took the URL from the FB business page and put it in the Google search and it said "Your search did not match any documents.)

I looked this issue up and some guys on Quora suggested that it could be due to the fact that the business page doesn't have any likes or followers and so FB doesn't allow it to be indexed. Is that true?

Secondly, they suggested it could be because the business page is not directly linked to from the business main website (but it is).

So! Anyone who has been there, done that, and can give some advice here would be really welcome.

The Linkedin profile shows up in Google, but it's the only social profile that is.

    I have a Facebook business page from 2017 that it's showing up in Google...So I don't know, maybe is the like and followers thing or maybe it's a matter of time, I think you can test fairly quickly if one of those are the reasons why is not showing yet. The rest of my socials are also showing, Twitter, Youtube, etcetera

    Yes, social profiles are not indexed. However, your website and other digital assets can still be found by using search engines such as Google.

    Are you sure you are checking the canonical version of the Facebook page? Facebook pages often have a few different URLs they can be reached by.

    So here is how it works.

    Your social profile pages on FB, Twitter, etc. They need to be clicked on from search engine listings page. So you should go back in the pages until you find it. Then click on it and have some other people do the same thing for the google search for your businesses name.

    You'll start to rank. It's called SERP clicks. Good luck.

    Send links to them if they are not indexing.
