The GSC for one of my pages shows URL is not available to Google but if I copy the page's URL and put it in quotation marks like "123.com" and enter that in a google search I am seeing the site listed in the SERP.

Does that mean the site has been indexed and if not then which tool would be the most reliable to show if a site has been indexed please?

Google Search console shows 2 days before data, but if you want to check the URL then you can put your URL page with "site:" on Google and check the indexing.
    Like- site:"your page URL"

If you see it showing up in Google search results, then obviously it is indexed.

There are a few ways of checking to see if a website, webpage or domain has been indexed in Google.

1.Just copy the URL of your webpage from the address bar - then paste it into Google with either site: or info: in front of it.

For example to check if a specific page has been indexed you can enter:

    site:your website domain

If you want to check if there are any pages indexed under the entire domain, similarly, you can use the search operator with just the domain name or subdomain:

    site:domain.com

    2. Another way to check for indexed pages is to use Google Search Console.

If you have not done so already, you will need to add and verify your website/property in Search Console.

Once you have done that, you will have access to various reports and statistics available inside Search Console.

Making sure you have selected the correct search property - ie your website, at the top of the page in Search Console you should be able to see a box that starts 'Inspect any URL in' - then your site URL.

There are tools available that can bulk check to see if your URLs are indexed in Google such as URL Profiler and ScrapeBox, but for most sites Google Search Console should be enough.

It is not necessary that your website is indexed so that it comes on Google search. May be there is more search volume on that search query if you will work on it according to google guidelines then it will appear in google search

  • The most reliable way to check if a site has been indexed by a search engine is to use the search engine's own tools. Here are a few options for checking if a site has been indexed by different search engines:

Google: To check if a site has been indexed by Google, you can use the site: operator in Google search. For example, you can search "site:www.example.com" to see if www.example.com has been indexed by Google. You can also use Google Search Console, which is a free tool provided by Google that allows you to see how your site is performing in Google search results and get notifications if there are any issues.

Bing: To check if a site has been indexed by Bing, you can use the site: operator in Bing search. For example, you can search "site:www.example.com" to see if www.example.com has been indexed by Bing. You can also use the Bing Webmaster Tools, which is a free tool provided by Bing that allows you to see how your site is performing in Bing search results and get notifications if there are any issues.

Other search engines: Other search engines, such as Yahoo and DuckDuckGo, also have their own tools for checking if a site has been indexed. You can use the site: operator in these search engines to check if a site has been indexed, or use the search engine's webmaster tools if they are available.

Overall, using the search engine's own tools is the most reliable way to check if a site has been indexed, as it provides accurate and up-to-date information directly from the source.

You can do via manually checking with this dork on google : site:"your page URL"

or you can use google webmaster tools for index checking .

the best authentic one is to manually search or make an automated bot via using this dork for search : site:domain link .

This tell accurate numbers of links indexed .

    Pages, think pages.

If you do what you described, whatever page opens when you click in the link, that page is indexed.

If you do that for all page urls and all show up, all are indexed.

Alternatively, you could search like this:
    Site:example com.

Google will return all urls it knows of.

As the others said, the most reliable way to check indexation is using site:yourdomain.com/yourpage/

However, if you want to check if your page is responding to a keyword, use site:yourdomain.com yourkeyword. If your page is on the way to rank for that keyword, the page should appear on the results.

Google Search console is the tool which clearly tell you each and everything about website issues and indexing related issues. You can see each and every related thing in Google Search Console tool.
Another thing if it comes under site:"domain name" it means pages are indexed.

For what I think, Google Search Console is the best platform to check whether your URL is indexed or not.
You simply have to put your URL in the given space. After some time, the Google will show you that your URL is indexed or not. If it is not indexed, there will be an option on the side to index that particular URL. If it is already indexed you can also test it, if it's working fine or not.

The most reliable option to check whether a website is indexed by search engines is to use the "site:" operator in the search engine. This will show you all the pages of the website that have been indexed by the search engine.
Here's how you can do it:
Go to your preferred search engine, such as Google.
Type in "site:" followed by the URL of the website you want to check. For example, "site:example.com", then click and the search engine will show you all the pages of the website that have been indexed.
