My pages aren't being indexed. Please help

Hi everyone, yesterday I uploaded 10 articles to my site. My goal is to create a 100 page authority site about a specific topic. These articles are 100% unique.

I submitted my sitemap to Google Search Console. The site is registered with Google Search Console as well.

The problem: the pages haven't been indexed yet.

I've allowed the search engines to crawl my site.

Can you please help? When should my pages be indexed?

Thanks

24 hrs??? From google's support site:

It can take time for Google to index your page; allow at least a week after submitting a sitemap or a submit to index request before assuming a problem. If your page or site change is recent, check back in a week to see if it is still missing.
It doesn't usually a week but it may well take more than one day...especially if the site is new. You've done what you can - go write the next ten articles and by the time that's done, your pages are likely to be indexed.

I've seen almost immediate indexing and several days wait....stressing over it doesn't help...just drives you nuts.

Thanks for the reply Kay King. I have another problem. For some reason, none of my articles are listed in my sitemap. I've never had this problem before. I'm using Yoast but I also experimented with Google Sitemap xml and still no pages show up. Can you please help me find a solution? Thanks

Give it some time. Are the articles AI generated?

Yes but does that matter? Currently, Google is ok with AI generated articles. Before they said they didn't like it. But then they reversed their decision.

If you do truly become "an authority" site, then Google may crawl and index in a matter of hours.

Just a guess because I'm not a big tech person - but linking your pages to each other is likely to add them to the site map (perhaps) - at least that makes sense to me.

Do a little research online about 'silo site structure'. Also read a bit about 'how to create an authority site' - there are some good blogs online about that.

Very simply if you have an article about guitar chords that is indexed and you add a link to that page leading to a new article about guitar strings....the google bot is likely to follow the link. That is simplied - but the idea is to create 'paths' to your own pages by interlinking and by getting other links.

You cannot control the speed of google and the sitemap issue may correct itself if you've done what you can to begin with. Look at the site map issue AFTER the pages are indexed - if you still have a problem with that.

For faster indexing is useful to link pages with each other. Then hit your site search robot will consistently bypass its pages.

Here are some penalty checker tools that you can use:

    Fruition Google Penalty Checker
    Moz Google Penalty Checker
    SEMrush Sensor
    Barracuda Panguin Tool
    Algoroo
    CognitiveSEO's Site Audit Tool
    Rank Ranger's Rank Risk Index
    AccuRanker's Google Grump
Advanced Web Ranking's SERP Fluctuation Monitor
Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools)
These tools can help you identify if your site has been penalized by Google or other search engines. It's important to note that not all penalty checker tools are 100% accurate, so it's a good idea to use multiple tools and cross-check their results.

    Yes but does that matter?
If the pages are not indexed soon, I guess you'll have your answer. I don't believe creating an 'authority site' that is all AI generated content is a viable plan...but I could be wrong.

My guess is that Google will tolerate AI sites to a certain point - and then won't. That has happened many times with google when site owners have found 'shortcuts'.

Edit: My point is not that AI should not be used - but that a site composed only of AI is unlikely to become an 'authority' site IMO.

One trick that works for me is to post a link to one of my more recent posts to REDDIT

This usually indexes not only the post but also other newer posts

    WARNING: This only works if
    - you have a lot of karma
    - your account has established credibility and authority in the subreddit
    - you are actually posting something relevant

Beware of "indexing services" which actually do more harm than good

    Hello there!
I want to ask what might cause a website not to be indexed in Google. This particular website has a big amount of content with millions of pages. I'm having trouble understanding why this happened, and I hope you can provide some insight. Can you please suggest ways to index my website again in Google? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or you can drop your link on one website that Google crawls daily (or often, if you're not in a big hurry).
