How many backlinks?

I am just now starting with my first wordpress website. It is amazon affiliate and adsense monetized. I am starting to see some results in the google search for some of my keywords. I am on the first page for one of my keywords after only about 5 days of the website being up.

I have build probably 12 backlinks in total with social bookmarking sites, and related blog comments. I don't wanna get my website sandboxed, and I was wondering what is a good amount of backlinks to build daily to my website?
I could build a lot very quickly, and I like to stay busy, so I keep wanting to make more backlinks.

I am very afraid of getting too many too fast and getting the website sandboxed, so therefore I ask, what is a safe number of backlinks to build to my new wordpress website on a daily basis?

    If you manually build links, it will be very difficult for you to build links "too fast". There is no magic number for the amount of links to build in a day. However, judging by the current amount of links you have, you could certainly increase the amount you add daily.

    On to my next question:

    When posting on social bookmarking sites, in the beginning I kept the description of the link the same. I thought about it and thought that it might hurt my ranking and started to change the link title and description.

    Will the fact that maybe 10 or 15 of my inital social bookmarking links have the exact same title and description hurt any kind of ranking google will associate with my website?

    I would write articles and submit them to article sub sites. EZA is one the best to go with. If you want to go w/ SBM sites - Digg is the best (my opinion).
