Hi Everyone,

I am wondering...I have a blogsite that has 4th position in Google for a keyword that gets around 15,000 queries per month. I know usually the first two positions get most of the clicks. I have not received a single click to my site from this position. Does anyone have an insight on this? Would be much appreciated...Thks

In such a situation, you may want to modify your Title and Meta Description. Because, this is what entices people to click on your link.

NOTE: Changing Title and Meta will have an impact on your ranking and it will go down.

Currently, you may have keywords in your title and description, but it might not really be relevant to your target market.

Perhaps you are confusing the real search volume?

What tool did you get that figure from? Have you tried the SEObook keyword tool as Im guessing you are using the horribly inaccurate Google adwords tool.

Also there are other factors involved.

If your 18K is a global search volume with no Geo-targeting, that will only apply if you are in position 4 in Google for every country.

Use the Google global plugin for Firefox to check your ranking in each country.

Also search online for the bookmark toolbar code to turn off Google personalised search and use it before doing anything else.
