One more guys,

Went to Matt Cutts blog and came across a blog post stating that Caffeine will be launched on a large scale after the holidays.

Expect Caffeine after the holidays

Unfortunately, their "test" site for Caffeine was closed.

Did anyone here test it?

If so, any idea on how we will be affected and any advice on how we may need to adjust our SEO strategies for Caffeine.

I'm interested to see if it will make it harder for the little guy or if it will level the playing field even more.

Cool, I look forward to it. I think the people that will benefit most are those that have regularly updating and original content, and I'm good in that department.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

    Yeh,

I wish I had've gotten the opportunity to test it.

We could've noted any differences in the SERP results and did a little reverse engineering to find out what might be the new key factors.

As far as backlinks, I think they already have those "weighted" in an efficient manner.

The higher the PR, the greater the "vote". Hopefully that would remain the same.

    Who knows????

  • How many times has Google changed their Algorithm in the past 10 years? If you worry about every little change you are wasting time. Even big changes. The bottom line is Google continues to preach - create quality. I have never had a problem with any of my sites tanking because of Algorithm changes.

The only people that need to worry are the people that are creating their own artificial linking schemes.

Finally some sense. InternetMarketingIQ is right. Besides, Caffeine is NOT a change in how Google ranks sites so I don't expect any here to have major changes in how their site(s) rank organically. Any change in ranking will be a normal thing that has nothing to do with Caffeine. It's mostly a change in the underlying program to deliver faster results and make the search engine more efficient.

You can test Caffeine right now.... Google has Caffeine running live at one data center for continued testing. I am pretty sure it is the data center in Singapore... Try running your keywords through Google
and see how the results differ from the "regular" google

you might feel differently if you tested the caffeine results for yourself.
