  • Don't add too many backlinks from low-quality sites -- it can harm SEO.
    Focus on:
    Relevant sites
    High Domain Authority
    Genuine engagement

Get online after work and research how to create Backlinks the proper way. Look at Google and Backlinko for basic information. https://developers.google.com/search...-starter-guide

Build backlinks through guest posts, directories, Web 2.0 sites, broken-link outreach, blog comments, and local listings. Focus on high-quality, relevant sites and track results to show steady improvement to your manager.

How does your boss know you are doing everything
wrong, and if he knows how to do it, then he should
    train you.

In any case, you seem to have bigger problems than
not knowing how to develop backlinks, you need to
find a better job or learn how to make money online.

Develop your online skills and try to start freelancing
or doing something so that you can get paid.

Try to sell something during the Christmas buying
season, now is the time to make money from sales,
    affiliate sales, dropships, or whatever.

Back to the backlinks - read a book, take a course
and do the best you can. Try to convince your boss
that you are doing your best, but in the meanwhile
you need to find another income.

If i was you in all the free time i would learn the process by watching videos ,raeding etc

I would do this full time ,all the time until the boss check you

This its no other way .even if you will not be an expert at least you will have some ideas what to do and if your boss ask you something you may find the answers you need

bro don't stress too much, this stuff happens in a lot of small digital marketing firms. backlink building isn't crazy hard, you just need a proper process instead of random link dropping.

first thing, make sure you're getting links from sites that actually match your client's niche. use simple google searches like niche + "write for us", niche + guest post, niche + resources etc. that alone will give you decent places to try.

don't go for only high DA stuff, just focus on real sites with real content. mix your backlinks too... guest posts, niche edits, good directories, Quora/Reddit answers, HARO, and some legit blog comments. avoid spammy directories or PBN looking stuff.

and honestly, outreach is the real work. email blog owners and offer a guest post or content update. keep a simple google sheet to track everything: link, anchor, site quality, date, status. managers love seeing that you have an organized system.

if you wanna learn fast, watch Brian Dean or Authority Hacker on YouTube. they explain backlink basics in like 1 or 2 hours.

just show your manager a clear plan and weekly progress. you can definitely pick this up in a month.

You can revert to the classic view, which is what many longtime members use. Look at the top of the screen and click the down arrow to the right of your name, and then choose "View Classic."

  • To add backlinks quickly and safely, focus on the basics:

Submit your site to relevant directories and local listings.
Use guest posts, niche forums, and industry portals to place links.
Reach out to sites in your niche with a simple note: "I found your article helpful; here's a resource we published that adds value if you'd like to include it."
Create useful content (guides, checklists, stats) that people naturally link to.
Avoid spam links they hurt more than help.

And if you're stressed about your job, update your manager with a clear plan and steady progress.

Man, I'm really sorry you're going through this. Your manager putting all the blame on you is unfair, because backlinks and traffic depend on many factors, not just your work. For now, try to stay calm and use this month to sharpen your skills: watch a few updated SEO videos, study what kind of backlinks your competitors are getting, and focus on getting links from relevant, real sites instead of random ones. Also, ask your manager for clear examples of what he expects so you are not guessing in the dark. Even if this job does not work out, the skills you build now will help you find a better place that actually supports you.

Add Backlink according to the client's niche. Create useful content and out reach the blogs which is beneficial for your client. Avoid creating spam links and bulk submissions. Track work on a spreadsheet and analyze the progress. Quality matters more than quantity.
