If youre' ranked for SomePage.html and you do a 301 redirect to somepage.html and do this site wide for all pages which are indexed and ranked in google for NonLowerCase pages and redirect to nonlowercase pages, would this have any negative effect in google ?

    I won't tell you exactly what it is as everyone has just done duplicated posts here about it.

    But yes it is perfectly safe and i find it easier to work with lower case file names as they are easier to remember than the capitalized first letters
