      Of course not, isn't "black hat" related to illegal or otherwise unsafe practices? What is wrong with asking people to exchange blog posts to help promote each other out? I am very nitpicky in who I exchange with too, plus a lot of people seek compensation for these, especially those who write articles for big journals, which is why I feel like a "pay-in-kind" is something that a lot of people would also be looking for

        I heard that link exchange isnt allowed directly like google consider it spam when you acquire backlink from website A, and Website A gains a backlink from you. but Yes you can go for ABC approach.

          I'll add I'm not affiliated with any of these links lol, I have two brand new websites of which I am trying to grow an audience and domain presence, so I am exploring all options especially free or low-cost options as I do not want to spend money yet on them.       I don't think any sensible person would ever imply otherwise. If I have a page related to food and beverages, why would I want to exchange guest posts with anyone outside of my own related field? Thanks for the advice though, some of your mentions are interesting!

    Manual outreach is the better option, I guess. However, you can also check websites like Prnews or Collaborator, but there are only paid solutions.

    I'd focus less on backlink exchanges and more on finding blog that already cover topics related to your niche. Genuine guest posts, expert contributions, and sharing useful data or case studies tend to get much better results than simple link swaps.

    As a new founder, building relationships with a handful of relevant publishers is usually more valuable than getting a large number of easy links.

      Why do you all assume I don't want guest posts relevant to my niche and that I'm very picky about which blogs I want to post on?


      If you think about spammy links then that's on you, that's not what guest post means

        That's what happens when people paste your question into an AI chatbot.

        But you haven't helped yourself by conflating the terms "guest post" and "link exchange". The benefits of guest posting go beyond a simple link back to your site. Properly targeted and constructed, a guest post can identify or create a buyer and/or follower for your product or service.

        You admit you need to be picky about where you post, so it seems you already know the answer to your question. The best places to look are where your potential customers/readers hang out.

    Most of the direct you link me, I link you groups are pretty spammy now.
    What's working better is just hanging out where your niche already talks, small communities, Indie Hackers-type spaces, niche Discords, and building real connections first.
    When you actually help someone guest post, data, quick insight, backlinks tend to happen naturally without forcing it.

    Go where your niche audience already hangs out
    Reddit, Indie Hackers, niche Discords and build real connections first.
    Backlinks come easier when there's actual value exchange, not just swapping.
