Sites Been De-Indexed :/ Is This Normal???

Hey, I made a new blog 5 days ago, it only has 3 pages, I added a couple of backlinks and one of those pages was indexed by google.

If I searched site:mysite.com I could see that one page in the listings.

But today its gone :/

Is this normal for pages to drop off like this? None of my other sites have had this problem.

Do you think my site has been penalized in some way?

Thanks

Carl

Would need to see the site to understand anything but really do not see why you would be dropped .

Try typing your site this way . mysite.com straight to the search form. It could easily just be a G dance thing .

Unless you did something really bad, I can't imagine them de-indexing you that fast. I have had a couple of brand new niche sites do the same, only to come back in a week. Not sure why it happens.

I'm sure it's a Google dance thing. Give it time.

I have had a few sites that were new do this in the past. They drop off the index for a couple days or a week to shop up even higher in the SERPs.

    Good luck

Just keep building backlinks, its perfectly normal and often refered to as "the google dance" nothing to worry about. Happens to everyone and there is no way to avoid it.

Nice one for all the replys =)

It's weird! If i search for it on my iphone it comes up in the results, but if I do the same on my computer... NADA.

Hopefully it will come back again after I nuke it

They call it the Google Dance, but I find it more understandable when I think of it as Google's Split-Testing.

Just keep working on your site and you will see improvements.
