I have been building back link to my site for quite some time now. But for the past three months my links don't exceed 700+ no matter how hard i try.

  • Sounds like you are wasting a lot of time getting links for the purpose of getting links.

Try figuring out where your target customer goes and set up shop there.

No point in grinding out more usless links.

Having awesome content is great, but you still have to build links or advertise your site, or no one will ever find your awesome content.

I would recommend contacting blogs related to your niche and paying them to review your site. The links will be permanent and surrounded by content related to the niche of your website.

    Work on these techniques/strategies:

    link wheel
    squidoo lens
    hub page
    social networking
    RSS feeds

I made Blog commenting, blog commenting and blog commenting alone and now my site has 3k+ inlinks in Yahoo and 1K + inlinks in Google in just a period of 2 months. Forget bing, I don't like it regarding back links.

i think 700 links are enough to create effect. you should checkout what's wrong with your links otherwise they should have started effecting your ranking

Firstly it helps to focus on link building strategies that you can -

    1. Automate
    2. Outsource
    3. Both

Link building can be outsourced to people for a couple of bucks an hour. If you outsource heavily automated link building then your backlink profile will explode.

Secondly, you need to focus on the indexation level of your links. Having a **** load of links out there is a great starting point but that doesn't help you if Google doesn't find them, index them and credit them. Spend some time creating RSS feeds that point to your links then submit those RSS feeds to a bunch of places. This is quite a complicated topic and I don't have enough time to delve into it deeply here but just RSS blasting your links will have a big effect.

    Hope this helps,

    Andy
