Hey everyone. Does any one if i would get better results with adwords if i put only 1 keyword per ad group? I heard this before, but don´t remember where. Anyway, i don´t know if this is true. Doing that we get high quality score or less cpc?

Thank you

I would put one keyword per ad, not per ad group..for every keyword make a new ad..

That way you can have your keyword in headline, keyword in description, and if it's possible keyword in domain..

This way you'll get higher quality score

Picking one main keyword which targets your site is better. However you can use Multiple ads per keyword. Google tracks individual ad performance to help you monitor which ones perform well. If your ads closely match your keywords then your Quality score will be increased.

Single keyword group / ads are not needed to have a high Q score / low cpc, it is not a good nor bad thing, what ever floats your boat and works for you is fine.

I would pick one keyword per ad and cross test the ads to see which perform the best and which to keep around in the long run. Nobody ever made any money in Adwords without testing! (Ok, maybe some did...)

      Hope this helps.

You can have groups with many keywords doing quite well. Having one keyword per group will not by itself make it successful. The key is properly grouping your keywords around a theme.

The big downside to having one keyword per group is a management issue. Have you ever seen a campaign with over 1200 groups, all having just one keyword? Nasty, especially when the group names are long. A naming convention helps but still, after a while they all start to look the same.
