Facebook Ads, are they effective??

I'm relatively unfamiliar with Facebook ads, never gone anywhere near Facebook. The question is, are they effective in making a good amount of money?
I've seen some websites claiming they're not all that effective because people are distracted by other stuff on the site.

    Zero, here's some good advice to give you a head start.

    Facebook ads are effective but you need to get to work and start testing your ads. The key is getting a solid CTR % and bidding on CPM.

    You can get quality clicks for friggin pennies if you reach a CTR of around 0.30% or more... its easy once you test things out and see what gets your audience clicking.

    One hit: Its all about the images. Bid on CPM. Set a campaign with at LEAST 10 ads so you can get some good CTR numbers and pick the best one. After you have one working just scale your campaign up and start making some money.

    Its easy to make $1,000 day's on Facebook but you need to act fast when you find an offer that converts. An ad will only be effective for a few days, until banner blindness comes to play and you start loosing the CTR and profits. Keep moving, scale fast and keep testing ads and offers.

    Its easy to get quality clicks for cents so start testing.

    Good luck there, you can get it to work if you simply test and see what works. Spend $100-$200 testings and learning what gets people to click, dont wait for a campaign to be profitable on your first try without a good ad. Its crucial.

    Potentially very targeted. The reality however is that most people are completely blind to the adverts. Ask your mates - "what do you think of the adverts on facebook?". Most will say "have not ever noticed them".

    Social networkers are in the main not looking to buy so are not receptive.

    Facebook is a social online community that connects everyone to everyone. Some businesses utilize facebook to advertise their product to their friends, and their friend's friends. The benefit of using facebook is that you can target your advertising on a massive scale. To help you understand more how facebook works, look for companies that offers training and support to guide you on how to utilize these social networking sites to generate income.

    I have had some success with them and been able to generate some good amount of money but when I started off it was bad. But I slowly got the hold of it found some neat ways to increase my conversion rates.

      Hey Guys,

      Here is my take...

      1. Facebook offers the most "laser targeted" advertising solution on the internet today. Sure some people might have "banner blindness" but... WHO CARES? You only pay for clicks, so your only going to pay for the people who DO NOT have "banner blindness".

      2. I think instead of sending people to an offer or lead cap page... Its much more powerful to send them to your "fan page!" Here you offer them an unreal amount of value and they become a fan for free. THEN you can promote as many offers to them as you want... Over time and respectfully of course.

      3. And to be honest I really DO NOT CARE how many clicks I get when it comes to promoting myself I love getting 10's of 1000's of FREE IMPRESSIONS being shown to my "Super Targeted Audience"... Here's what i mean...

      After a NFL game (or baseball, etc) when they hold a "press conference" with the coach and players... what do you see? A wall that is plastered with a Coca Cola logo or Pepsi or Dunkin Donuts.

      Obviously, these are all brands we all know of already, BUT its all about building your brand. So if I can have my face or company logo shown over 100,000 for pennies on the dollar... Then I will take that all day. Especially because I know for sure that its ONLY my target market that will be shown my "image" over & over... I know I might not click on those ads but I look at them everytime I land on a page... Its natural to scan a page real quick and see whats on it before moving on!

      So when the day comes that they hit my site/salesletter and see my a pic of me, they will recognize me... EVEN IF THEY DON'T REMEMBER HOW!

      And the best part is you can get $100 in FREE Facebook Ads without giving any personal info, credit card info or anything... Just for adding a App to your profile.
