Google Adwords - help?

Hi --

It`s been a long time since I used google adwords, so just revisiting it now (there have been a lot of changes!)

1. How long on average does it take new ads to get approved? Mine were, but seems to have taken about 1 day.

2. How do you `test` your ads? Before when I used it, when your ads were approved they showed up almost automatically. Now, even though it says `elgible`, etc -- if I type in a keyword phrase, i.e., `keyword 123`, even if there are no competitors (but still has good search volume, quality score (which is new), etc, etc) -- it doesn`t show up in the search engine. How do I get it to show up?

It seems basically I have this new campaign, and I`m willing to spend money -- but they have nothing showing right now.

    1. in most times under a day but can take longer
    2. test ads using the preview tool, go to opportunities > tools > preview tool
    ? you may need to offer a slightly higher bid, the best thing is once all is approved and you have good setting / scores there can be sometimes a very small delay before you start seeing impressions, so just give it a little while and all should be good.
