Hi Everyone!

Does having Amazon products ( keyword oriented) on my page affect the keyword density, as far as google ranking and indexing is concerned?

Will this affect my placement negatively?

  Hi,
  
  Are you building adsense sites, primarily? I put a link to the product that I am talking about to all my adsense sites.
  
  Now, not everyone does this, I think John (Xfactor) does not do it.
  
  But, I figure that if someone wants to accuse me of having a MFA site (made for adsense) which is not allowed, then I can point to my link and say it isn't a MFA site, look there is a product link.
  
  Also, just in case Google gets nasty and bans some or all of your sites, at least they are part way set up for other commercial interests.
  
  However, the downside is that it does give the reader something else to click on that is not adsense, so it may reduce your clicks.
  
  It would not negatively affect your indexing. Sometimes I get indexed fast, sometimes it is slow.......that is just the way it goes. I know there are guys who get 75% of their sites indexed really quickly, not entirely sure how it works though.

If you are using an Amazon banner ad or something, it shouldn't hurt your keyword density.

It is a common expectation that Googlebot sees web pages the way humans do. Instead, Googlebot will see only the html that is on the page.

Amazon provides special html for placing the banner or ad on your page, and I don't recall seeing any keywords in the Amazon html. Therfore, Googlebot won't see the ad as keyword filled, but rather as an html link without keywords.
