anyone else having problems with Market Samurai?

It's always crashy for me and it's unusable today. I just get the gray "loading" bar and nothing else. I tried to go to their website to submit a trouble ticket today, and their site wouldn't load either. Just wondering, is anyone else experiencing problems? It's a good enough tool, but it seems really unstable.

    why do you say its a "good enough" tool and seems unstable? Is this your first day you ever used MS? Maybe its some temporary thing with their site...but its all BUT unstable and way more than "good enough". In fact, i couldnt live without, beats any similar tool by a long shot.

      I've been using it for months, and as far as I'm concerned, it is just a "good enough" tool. Just because you love something doesn't mean everyone else does, and just because someone doesn't share your enthusiasm for a tool that doesn't mean it's the first day they ever used it. :-)

        Having the same problems. Their website doesn't seem to be loading and the program must check back with their site on opening....

        BTW...I have been using MS for about a month now and it is proving to be a great tool.

    Hey zcx, I'm having issues today too. Get the same persistent "loading" bar within the application and cannot reach their site either.

    By the way, just so you know you're not alone, the application never shuts down properly for me - don't know if that's what you meant by "crashy" but I fully understand what you're referring to. I always get a "this application failed to shut down correctly" message after closing it.

    I have a feeling it has a lot to do, if not entirely to do, with Adobe Air. I seem to have a lot of issues whenever I run a program that uses it.

    Hopefully MS will have things up and running here shortly.

    Been using it for a few months - absolutely fantastic, no problems whatsoever. This outage is the first issue I've experienced and whilst inconvenient I'm prepared to forgive this downtime as it's such a fantastic product.

    I've got all the confidence in the world that the guys at Noble Samurai are busting a gut to get it back up and running.

    Because it talks to the site on loadup, we can assume that the problem's not with the program but with their site/server. A bit of a concern but I trust it'll be back up and running as soon as they can manage it.

      I'll have to agree with peter on both counts. I've been using it for months and pretty heavily without any issues (it also could be because I have a pretty beefy machine), except today.

      The site not comming up is a good clue that they are having server issues.

      Does anyone know if this has a "stand alone" mode?

          Hi Everyone,

          As you all noted, we had problems with our server earlier today which, unfortunately, started at 9.45pm our time so they were not caught until early this morning.

          We now have everything back up and running so if you restart Market Samurai you should be able to access the software.

          We have more information about the problem and what we are doing to prevent it in future on our blog (which unfortunately I can't link to!)
