Squeeze page or blog?

This is probably a dumb question, I'm promoting different affiliate products and I was going to create a squeeze page for each one. Should I do that or just create a blog 2.0 site?

    Why not both?

A well designed front page or separate page on your blog that acts as a splash page.

I use pages on my blog currently and it performs OK - but some of the percentages other guys talk about are well beyond me. My next trial is to push through to using a video as well as a freebies to see how that converts and to also set up a seperate site squeeze page to see if it works any better as a tld rather than a page on a site

hopefully I'll have a more clear answer in a few weeks time!

I like tritrain's suggestion. Let's say you try both methods for 10 different products and test the results. When your done with your test period you will know either, which method works better for you, or if you should continue using both.
