Domain backlinks or pages?

If you have say 6 PR5 backlinks backlinking to the same domain but are on different pages each still with pr5, does that have the same effect as 6 PR5 backlinks on different domains which are each on PR 5 pages also?

      Hi,

      yes that makes a difference.
      Same PR from different domains, so different IP's is better.

      You can test that very simple.
      Just use 2 different domains, same keyword and do the backlinks.
      I say the same keyword because then you will use the same anchor text so you can see the difference.

      To make the test complete, use new domains or same age.
      That will make a difference too if the dmain age is different.

      On page SEO has to be the same for the 2 domains also.

      As you can see, to test this accurate you have to have 2 domains that are almost the same. So also the keyword in the URL.

      BTW, PR is highly overrated
