I am new to PPC and and using tracking202 to track what keywords convert. I know this probably is a very obvious question, but im struggling with what to do. once I figure out what keyword or keywords are converting what do I do, lol. Should I drop all the other keywords, and just bid on those keywords and increase the bid, or keep some of the keywords still or what? Thank You.

Hello spdfrk85, in many ways your question is to open but easy to answer as well, so i will have a go, yes in basic terms you keep those keywords that are converting for you an d you remove those that are not.

In many cases if they are converting and doing well you probably do not need to increase the bid and it may even be you can decrease the bid due to a better q score/

Keep in mind this difference. you will hear many people talk about bid and in many ways it is pointless as what you bid and what you pay are 2 different beasts, you may bid. 50 for example but with a good q score pay .30 on average.

Once you have your good keys working for you take them over and see if you can find some more similar keywords to test out so that you can expand your keywords.

yell out with any more questions you may have and i am sure there will be some help for you

The answer here is obvious to me. You keep the keywords that are converting and dump the ones that aren't. As far as bid increase/decrease, this is a different subject. It's possible that the keywords that are not converting would convert at different price levels. See, the 1st spot has better CONVERSION ratios than the 2nd, the 2nd has better than the 3rd and so on. So I always try for the top spot and see what happens OR I try for the cheapest possible clicks and see if I can make money that way. I can honestly write a whole book on your question. Your profits in PPC will come from trial and error, taking risks, evaluating results and constantly updating your campaigns. PM with more specific questions.
