Time Taken to Register at Search Engine

Hi.

After creating a backlink how long does it take for the search engine to register? Its been 5 days since load of activity but see no backlinks on some of the tools like SEO SpyGlass.

Have you tried YahooSite Explorer or backlinkwatch.com for checking your backlinks?

If the link is on a high pagerank or high traffic page it will generally be faster. It can take a month or two for weaker links.

I just had a site take 11 days to show up in Google with plenty of good backlinks to it.

It kind of doesn't matter if you are building sites and have other things to work on.
