A Strange Google Analytics Question

Hey everyone, you've all been great with helping me out. I have another question about GA though. I have two websites GA is tracking right now. I have a personal blog, an a health affiliate blog.

Anyways, I have noticed that all my traffic from my health blog that comes from organic google traffic all comes from this keyword: link:cuylercallahan.com. I know you can type this into googled to find out how many sites are linking to your site. The weird thing is the keyword is for my personal blog which does not link to my health site. Also, all my traffic from google lately to my health site has come from this keyword, no other keyword at all. And that is about 40 hits so far.

So does any body know what is going on. Why is my health site getting all of it's google organic traffic from the keyword: link:cuylercallahan.com which is a search in google to find incoming links to my personal blog when neither my health or personal blog are linked to each other.

Thanks

Are you going to any pages when you do a search like that? You or someone else is going to your site through that search.

Or maybe you mixed up the GA code and put the wrong one on the wrong site.

I have only done one link search for my cuylercallahan.com site. My health site isn't linked to my personal site at all, so I don't see how anybody doing searches for incoming links on my personal site would even be able to click on my health site.

I'm assuming people are searching on how many incoming links my personal blog has, but that doesn't make any sense to me that 40 people have searched for incoming links to my personal blog. Why would they want to, it's not an important site and gets maybe 4 visitors a day, mostly family and friends.

I'm not sure how code would have anything to do with it, I use the googleanalytics plugin. and my account number in the plugin is correct. Anybody else have any ideas what is going on?

Each website gets its own unique code from GA when you add a new site. Putting the same code on every website would combine your results.

okay, I reinstalled the code. I made sure the correct account number was installed. But any traffic that comes from google still shows up as coming from the keyword : link:cuylercallahan.com. But the site that the code is tracking is reviewedhealth.com. I found where reviewedhealth is linked to cuylercallahan.com. if you type in link:cuylercallahan.com, in the results is a legalpage for reviewedhealth.com which my personal blog is linked to.

but that still doesn't make any sense because that means 40 some different people did a link search on my personal blog cuylercallahan.com, only to click on the legal page that is linked to it on my reviewedhealth.com website.

Is it possible that somehow somebody installed a bug on my site or something. All traffic that comes from other search engines like yahoo.com or bing.com show up as coming from relevant keywords, but all google traffic comes from keyword: link:cuylercallahan.com.

Has anybody had a problem like this before.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I really want to figure this out.

This seems so weird that nobody has heard of this. If I talked to some google support do you think they would be able to give a response, or do they not even bother replying to us? I would think they have tons of queries and probably don't respond to support mail much.
