Google Keeps Banning Me!

Hi guys,

I am using SEO quake a lot and my outsourcers and we are noticing that Google is blocking us from getting Page Rank data and even searching after too many searches.

Does anyone have good solution?

Just so you know I have:

-adjusted my SEO quake setting to draw less data

I am thinking some kind of proxy service is what I need, but to be honest this is not my strong point and I get confused as to what to go for.

I tried Proxify and that was no good, and am looking at Cloakfish and www.seo-proxies.com - Your Premium Private Proxy Solution but the later is not that well priced.

Any advice would be awesome!! and maybe I am way off with the whole proxy thing perhaps...

    I have found the best solution is to rent a Linux VPS and get multiple IP's. Then install squid proxy. For around 100US/mo you can have an excellent private proxy server. If interested do some research online, you wll need to look for a guide on how to setup squid proxy.

      Hey thanks for that info. I've been looking into setting up something like this lately. Don't yet know what that squid proxy is exactly and if it will run on a Mac, but will look into it.

    Agreed. If your are putting to many backlinks to fast. Google bots will assume your spamming. Try backlinking a few sites a day. It shouldn't arouse anyones suspition.

      and this relates to the OP question how?

      In any event, you are pretty much incorrect in your statement. Unless we are talking about thousands per day to a new site, I wouldn't worry about the speed.

    What in the world.. did you guys even read the OP's post? so annoying to see people post just to increase their post count and/or show their sigs.

    Oh and on a more related note: You should try and get a few shared proxy's and juggle them around in firefox. Try it with shared proxy's first because that'll cost you around $10 for 8 or 9 proxies. If you are still getting banned you should just go for the VPS.

    The reason is Google blocks automated queries after around a 1000 or less requests.

    If you are getting blocked using proxies as well, then you must be doing a ton of requests.

    Get more proxies is the simple answer.

    He is talking about temporary IP bans from Google. Everyone is getting them if they query with bots/software too much. Solution: Use proxies and rotate through them.

    But then you mention that already....

    For just general surfing the web and using firefox plugins I would recomment privateproxysoftware.com. I use them. For software that pulls Google data, I would recommend buying shared proxies from Proxy Bonanza. I would get temp banned by google every 5 minutes with Scrapebox and SEO Spyglass if I wasn't using my proxies.
