Just build a new blog with blogger, using google webmaster tools to check keyword that the G bot found on my blog. I am targeting a 2 words keyword, but G bot just found only 1 keyword instead of 2 as i targeting. I have content targeting this 2 words keyword. Do anyone experience this and can explain if this will effect my rank in my targeted keyword.

Targeted keyword: plain cartoon
G bot crawled keyword: cartoon

    It will take time. But did you use your keyword as a anchor text in your blog. It is recommended that you should you a keyword as a anchor text link. If you go this google bot might know that the two words (plain cartoon) are your keyword and your blog is related to plain cartoons.
    Also use the title as a plain cartoon.

    You will have to build some backlinks using anchor texts as your targeted keyword and allow sometime. Google will definitely notice it as time goes by.

    Hi t3ch,

    What about the keyword density for your chosen phrase? You should aim for 1% to 4% density for your exact keyword phrase. This means that "plain cartoon" should appear at least once every 100 words but not more than 4 times.

      Yes, you need to maintain proper keyword density in your blog content. Also try to maintain keywords prominancy. Like you need to rank for a particular keyword. That you need to highlight properly in different places of you blog- in title, header, content, anchor text, alt tag etc. so that Google can identify this keyword for you and help you to achieve good ranking. But dear it's not so easy to get the result very quickly. Keep patience and work hard.

    The best way to show Google a big sign that says my website is about "keyword" is to get backlinks with that keyword being the anchor text.

    You can write it up on your website a million times but Google will always value a backlink more then what you write about yourself, it's a trust thing.
