I need a good AdWords Alternative... Ideas?

Hi!

I'm trying to come up with a strategy for marketing a product that Google AdWords will not allow you to promote through them. So, I'm looking for an alternative.

Any ideas for getting the kind of response that AdWords can give?

Has anyone advertised successfully through Kontera or Yahoo? Are the results as good?

    I would do facebook, make up a fan page and drive people to that. Then direct them to them to your site. Also why not try a banner ad on someones blog that would be relevant to your competition?
