Ping/bookmark republished articles??

When your articles are picked up from directories and republished, do you bookmark/ping the page on which the republished article appears? That would help the search engines notice another couple of backlinks, correct?

    I have bookmarked my articles on directory sites from time to time. It's another way to drive traffic to your articles and then to your site. Be aware that some bookmarking sites have banned EzineArticles.com from being bookmarked on their site.

    As long as the webmaster who is republishing your work adds your resource box with the correct links as well. Many choose not to and it can be very difficult to force them to do even though they are breaking copyright law. They may also change the link and point it to one of their sites or affiliate links and you don't want to help promote someone elses site who's ripping off your work.
